A person who’s perfectly in tune with his body is rare to find these days. We’re a busy generation of people, co-opting for the fastest solution to any given problem. This includes the problems affecting the most important machine we have: our bodies. Unfortunately, there’s a bunch of stuff that we can’t ignore when it comes to our bodies such as:
- Body odor,
- Weird spots,
- Poor posture.
It’s never too late to become interested in how your body runs and what its needs are. A healthy diet void of processed foods, daily exercise, and enhancing the mind by reading are just some of the basic hacks you can apply to start noticing improvements in your life.
Your body isn’t just a vessel that you can control all the time. It’s a complex mixture of elements, most of which we don’t really know anything about. To get you started on that journey of self-discovery, here are some things your body can tell you about yourself:
1. What happens to your body when you drink alcohol?
2. After just 1 minute of drinking, the alcohol gets absorbed into your bloodstream. After 5 minutes, it reaches your brain. Your muscles will be affected, which means your coordination will suffer.
3. After 30 minutes, you’ll be completely relaxed. 45 minutes later, the liver is working overtime to process the alcohol. Then, an hour later, the kidneys send everything to your bladder.
4. An hour into your drinking, your body is already dehydrated. This is the main reason for those nasty hangovers the next day.
